Taura Here Manawa "Koromiko" "The cord that binds me to your heart..."
The third beauty in our design series with Hirini Katene of House of Natives. This design came from our earliest conversations and was more collaborative than the others in our 'Manawa' series, which were conceived of later but released sooner. Here again, you can see the central motif of manawa (heart) running in repeat like a heartbeat through the design. Carried along on a line that represents not only the heart but the umbilical cord, bringing life, energy, and connection.
Woven in purple berry deliciousness across a rich black warp, this is 100% cotton. Easy to care for and a joy to wrap with.
Koromiko was offered previously via pre-order on Facebook, here are the extras we have made for those who missed out at the time!
